Introducing PowHERful, a fund created by Saigon Children’s Charity and MSD Vietnam to empower underprivileged girls in Vietnam through education. We believe that education is the key to unlocking a brighter future for these girls, their families, and their communities. With your support, PowHERful will provide girls with access to quality education, school supplies, and necessary resources. We believe that every girl deserves the opportunity to reach her full potential and build a better life for herself and her loved ones. We have asked almost 7,000 individuals and found out that there are still potential challenges not only limiting girls’ access to education, but also preventing them from exploring their potential in school, as well as discouraging them from pursuing higher education or choosing certain career path.
Vietnam Girls' Summit
The PowHERful Vietnam Girls’ Summit creates a platform to see and hear girls equally, showcasing girls’ power and leadership.
The Summit is proudly a female-designed and female-led event.
We offer a stage to female leaders to inspire girls to value themselves and believe they have power to shape their own lives and shape the world.

The event will give stage to female leaders and pioneers, to support young girls smash the stereotypical ceiling and show them what they’re capable of.

Half of the audience will be girls from underserved communities, making this summit a unique opportunity for students to meet, connect, and learn from peers from vastly different upbringings.

SAIGON CHILDREN’S CHARITY (SAIGONCHILDREN)
The organisation was founded in 1992 to help disadvantaged children get an education and a fairer start in life. Saigonchildren works exclusively across the whole of Vietnam to overcome barriers to education for children, including poverty, geography, knowledge, and disability.
