A PROMISING NEW CHAPTER OF THE POWHERFUL CAMPAIGN
“What I liked the most was the networking part; I got to talk with a volunteer assigned for my team, and I felt very happy. I learned that during networking, eye contact and confidence are very important to make a good impression,” shared Thảo, a student who attended the PowHERful Gathering event last Friday.
Following the success of the 2023 PowHERful Vietnam Girls' Summit, the Gathering was organised at the British Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City (UK in Vietnam) on 15th March 2024.
Attracting over 150 female students from diverse fields in the saigonchildren scholarship program. This was not only an opportunity for students to continue networking and learning from each other, enhancing their networking skills and expanding their professional network, but also career opportunities.

1,200 FEMALE STUDENTS
PowHERful Vietnam Girl’s Summit is a platform for female students to be heard fairly, showcasing their strength and leadership abilities.
This is an event organized by women, exclusively for women, with the aim of inspiring and encouraging confidence and power among females.
With the participation of over 1,200 female students in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, along with the support of 19 inspirational speakers and over 100 volunteers, the event has created an encouraging and connecting platform for the female community. The thousands of online supporters and followers also demonstrate the influence and significance of this forum on society.

The forum in Ho Chi Minh City has attracted nearly 1,000 female students from universities and colleges across the Southern region, featuring 10 inspirational speakers from various fields. In addition to the active involvement of these speakers, the event has also received support from over 100 volunteers. Particularly noteworthy is the event’s garnering widespread attention and support from thousands of online followers, generating a positive ripple effect throughout the youth and society.
